ULTRA FLIPS

FAQ

The straight answers before you join the waitlist.

No fake launch numbers, no mystery marketplace, no pretending the app is already public. Here's what UltraFlips is building.

What is UltraFlips?

UltraFlips is a comp-backed platform that helps Pokemon collectors and resellers scan cards, track portfolios, and flip smarter. MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, and Lorcana are next.

What's Ultra?

Ultra is the Claude-based decision layer built into UltraFlips. It identifies cards from a photo, pulls market data, estimates confidence, and helps you decide when to buy, sell, or hold.

Is this Pokemon only?

Pokemon is first at launch. MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, and Lorcana are on the roadmap. Sports cards come later.

Where does the pricing data come from?

The product is designed to aggregate live and historical pricing from sources like TCGplayer, eBay, Cardmarket, Fanatics Collect, Goldin, and PSA, with confidence scoring for thin data.

How is this different from Collectr or Alt?

Collectr is collection management. Alt is sports-focused. UltraFlips is built for flippers: fee-aware ROI, sold comps, fast listing prep, and hobby-native Ultra guidance.

When does it launch?

UltraFlips is in private beta. Waitlist users get access in waves while the product is hardened for real flipping workflows.

Is it safe?

The marketing site only collects waitlist and contact information. The app is planned around Stripe Connect for payments and buyer protection.

Do you support live auctions like Whatnot?

Not yet. The product focus is timed silent auctions and fixed-price sales: formats serious flippers can price, model, and manage.

When does Ultra Consignment launch?

Ultra Consignment is on the post-launch roadmap. Core UltraFlips ships first. Consignment requires vault partnerships and seller protections that take time to wire correctly. Join the consignment waitlist and you'll be first in.

Do I have to grade with PSA to use Ultra Consignment?

No. We're building planned integrations with PSA, CGC, and SGC vaults so you can consign whichever grader you prefer. Raw cards require Ultra's own vault, planned for a later phase.

How do payouts work?

Once a card sells and ships from the vault, payment authorizes immediately and releases to your bank after the buyer's inspection window, typically 3-7 days depending on grade. You'll see net earnings in real time inside UltraFlips.

What is the refund policy?

Pricing is not live yet, so there are no paid subscriptions on the marketing site. A final refund policy will be published before any paid plan launches.

What payment methods will be supported?

The app is planned to use Stripe-powered payment flows. This marketing site does not process payments.

What data does the website collect?

The website collects waitlist emails, optional collector profile fields, contact form messages, basic analytics, and technical metadata needed for spam prevention.
